VMware consultant/NSX/Ireland/Banking/long term contract/£450/day
VMware consultant/NSX is needed for my client, a leading systems integration specialist has won a major project with a Tier 1 bank for a project in Dublin (Ireland). They are looking for a VMware consultant with NSX experience for a long term project. As a VMware consultant, you will be working on the designing, installing and configuring VMware NSX as part of a Software Designed Data Centre.
As a VMware consultant, you will be on a 3 months rolling contract for a long term project, as you will be working through a specialist consultancy in your sector this will create the opportunity for you to work on other VMware NSX projects across the country. The consultancy is renowned for their work in the banking sector. They are looking to pay in an around the £450/day mark for this project.
Required skills:
*Understand the role NSX plays in a SDDC supporting an integrated VMware/OpenStack/Puppet stack
*Gather requirements, constraints, assumption and consider risks to provide a NSX design consistent with the desired target environment
*Specify design of VMware installation and configuration to allow integration with NSX
*Design and configuration of NSX within a Disaster Recovery solution across multiple Datacentres
*Design and configuration of NSX logical services, components and associated policies including network, security, routing, Firewall etc.
*Installation and configuration of NSX Manager including deployment of VIBs on ESX hosts and vCentre registration
*Installation and configuration of NSX Controller
