Urgent daily rate contract role, Dublin, Ireland location. Network Security servcies product manager.
Manage the technical product management aspects of products and services within the hosted network security services portfolio including product definition, testing, and solution implementation.
Support the on-going professional development of the business within the frame of building realistic technical and operational plans.
Working closely with our CIO, CTO Office and Network partners to identify and deploy best in class solutions.
Requirement to bring relevant projects through the portfolio process and work with IT and other stakeholders to ensure that the projects are completed on time and within CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
Design, implementation & testing of Security solutions based on new & existing network & security portfolio which are underpinned by a solid understanding of IP Networking, Routing and Security.
Ensure products are robust and efficient and that the requisite sales, implementation and support processes are set with and met by internal/external suppliers.
Champion, get agreement on and drive the timely development of product additions/enhancements. Cease end-of-life products.
Generate pull through revenue on engagements through the identification of technological solutions or enhancements following on from initial engagements.
Support marketing, pre-sales and sales areas to determine, prioritise and deliver all requirements within agreed timelines within the defined process.
Interface with Sales, Pre-sales, Service, and other areas as necessary to ensure the explicit objectives of the role are delivered upon.
Assist in the closure of sales opportunities through the demonstration of technical capability and trusted advisor relationship.
Assist in presentations to customers, verbal and written.
Interface with Presales in the design of significant bespoke propositions for customers.
Interface with Presales in input to proposals where specific technical authority is required.
Interface with Presales team in Production of high level & low level design documents.
Input to the creation of accurate project plans, test strategies, handover documentation etc.
Research and understand security technologies & trends and potential for development.
Participate in product trials and seminars for technological advancement and impart knowledge promptly.
