Responsibilities:
- Lead engagement with the Client supporting the front line bid team to develop the opportunity
- Engage and understand the client’s business strategy and pain points
- Install confidence in client regarding competence in Data Centre Services
- Prepare and deliver high level customer (CXO,VP) communication, includes high level customer solution presentation
- Mentor and support the front line team to deliver a quality solution
- Play a key role in the overall planning, solution architecture and design from transition, operation and transformation
- Assist in the preparation of response documentation to RFI and RFP
- Maintain an up to date understanding of competitor landscape and offerings
- Contract negotiation and able to interpret contract risk for client
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the industry market and technology evolution
Qualifications:
- Familiar with all aspects of the IT lifecycle understand the Plan, Design, Development, Build / SI and Test lifecycle through to Service Operations
- Knowledge of network transformation in terms of NFV, SDN, analytics and orchestration
- Director level (either operation or architecture) in a Tier 1 operators or relevant experiences (both delivery AND sales) from service vendors
- Customer facing role – good communication skills and native in either UK or Italy
- Visionary in telecom operator’s network transformation
- At Least 10 years + experience in Tier 1 Telecommunications, CSP or major vendor
- Data Centre planning and Outsourcing experience gained with a Telecommunications CSP
- Strategic planning and budgetary experience preferred
- Significant experience in delivery and service operations at a senior management level
- Evidence of relevant continued development in specialist areas
- Knowledge latest technology trends and understanding of Cloud, NFV and SDN
- Strong communication skills, strong sense of service, Outstanding presentation skills with technical and non-technical audience
- Proven analytical, time-management, problem solving and consulting skills
- Strong relationship building skills and overall comprehension of sales cycle
- Education Bachelor degree or above
- English fluent, 2nd and 3rd languages an advantage
- A strong network within the industry a distinct advantage
- Able to undertake global travel requirements
