A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Consultant to work as an O & M Facilities Construction Manager for their offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for the O & M Facilities Construction Manager to be able start this 24 month freelance contract from 1st May 2017, works will be Monday to Friday up to 10hrs a day. Must be SC cleared or able to obtain SC Clearance). The O & M Facilities Construction Manager will be responsible for managing, planning and coordinating O&M Facilities Site organisation and O&M Facilities installation activities, including interface across projects (packages).Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for health and safety for all O&M facility activities during the execution phase and to establish a safety culture amongst all involved parties on site.
- Ensure completion of construction O&M facilities (physical asset) on time, budget & built in accordance with specification agreed in contract and ready to hand over to O&M.
- To proactively manage good cooperation, communication, reporting, identification, coordination and securing of interfaces, including alignment of scope of work and deliverables.
- Ensure that lessons learnt and best practice are implemented.
- To ensure client requirements and tasks are transferred to appointed principle contractor and his site management organisation for execution as specified in contracts and governing the client's sites and HSE Management documents.
- Oversea that the construction is made in accordance with requirement, specifications and standards defined by operations (Operation Preparation Manager)
- Take part in Tender process for ensuring compliancy with O&M Facilities Site requirements.
- MSc/BSc in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience within construction management of onshore activities in large scale construction projects as well as construction work within country of installation.
- Minimum 3 -5 years leadership experience and experience within HSE management.
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC and must have i-Phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows phone 8.1
