Description

Our client is looking to hire a high calibre RF design engineer to join their experienced and dynamic team in a leading edge technology company that specialises in point to point wireless networks.

Working closely with the other engineering teams, you will be able to agree the specification for the RF sections of new designs of transmitters and receivers and take them right through to production. Along the way you will be able to liaison the regulatory team, design team, NPI and supply chain. You will also be able to agree the requirements for testing calibration and be able create test specification documents.

The ideal candidate must be an excellent team player and communicator who is willing to help other across departments and be able to have resolve issues as they arise. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering RF designs into production, be a skilled user of modern RF design aids and be able to interpret international radio specifications and assess their impact on design choices.

This is a long term contract starting off with an initial 6 months. The salary is negotiable depending on a candidates experience and qualifications.

The client's offices are located in a beautiful part of South Devon, just off the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth. The estate is surrounded by rolling hills that are ideal for lunch time walks. There is also a sandwich bar onsite that serves arrange of delicious baguettes and soups.
