Windows System Administrator, Valencia, Spain
Windows Systems Administrators required for Windows based environment second level support Service Desk in Valencia, Spain. Shift work for 24 x 7 support for day-to-day Windows, VMWare, Hyper-V and SCOM support and maintenance. Proficiency in English mandatory. You will be working for an International organisation. Initial contract to end September 2017, renewable.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Five years' IT experience, and with experience in:
- System administration of Windows, VMware, Hyper-V and SCOM
- Monitoring tools such as HPOV NNM, Microsoft SCOM, SCCM
- Applying updates, patches, bug fixes and other deployments to the server farms
- LAN, WAN and Internet technologies and protocols
- Practical experience with data recovery
- Practical experience with Storage Area Networks
- Service Management tools (Ticketing systems).
- Good knowledge in disaster recovery and data protection software
- Good knowledge of Scripting for monitoring, task automation
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree
- Microsoft certifications highly desirable
- Knowledge of Service Management best practices (ITIL)
- English: advanced (level C1)
