Requirements
Manning the CIS Help Desk.
*General Windows Server /Windows 7/Windows 10 Client Systems Administration tasks (user account management, Active Directory, MS Exchange, network administration etc),
*Hardware and software updating. Performing trouble-shooting and hardware repairs and installation as necessary. The equipment includes workstations, Servers, printers and LAN related equipment.
*Updating the hardware and software configuration of the network (LAN and Internet), as well as the documentation concerning configuration management.
*Maintain an inventory of the CIS equipment and spares. This involves supervision of stock levels, acceptance of merchandise, checking conformity with the order, identifying the various elements and updating the inventory.
*Making daily copies of the network back-ups. Back-up planning, programming, execution and archiving.
*Providing support to users on the applications used at the CSO (Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Exchange ) in the form of helpdesk and on-site assistance. Assisting with the integration of specific software programs, for example, budget and contract management. The proposal of new solutions and improvements to applications will be expected.
QUALIFICATIONS
*MS Windows Systems Administration and Configuration.
*Knowledge of PC, LAN, and Server technologies, Hardware and Software troubleshooting
*Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Office Professional )
*Knowledge of virtual technologies eg VMWare v5.5 or later.
*Knowledge of Imaging procedures and technologies eg Ghost/WinPE.
