Description
- Manage the core services with emphasis on IP Networks & systems
- Develop broad understanding of whole end-to-end system architectures
- Support budget forecasting for the department in close collaboration with other teams for comprehending new standards and identifying possible adaptations for improvement
- Increase efficiency by developing existing and innovative tools and establish better management of the environment.
- Support in the complete administration of the environments; assisting in the maintenance of all systems, such as VM infrastructure, storage, systems and software.
- Focus on IP Networks and systems
- Create and support the arrangement of new tools for improving efficiency
- Adjusting existing IP Networks and systems to new requirements
- Set up documentation and other means for ensuring effective communications of the systems, processes and procedures to all stakeholders.
- Remain up-to-date on new standards & technologies but also IP systems engineering for ensuring the highest quality
- Ensure physical security, capacity planning and other standards
- Hold precise incident/change records and logs and report to management
- Guarantee operational availability of current systems and networks in cooperation with
Lab Engineers.
