Next Ventures are currently recruiting for a SAP HR Business and Functional Lead to join a global end-client in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Project Description:

The SAP Project within the Client is gearing up to roll out the SAP HCM Portal to 54 countries globally in 2017. This follows the successful implementation of SAP HCM for HR users in 2010. The project, to be split into 2 waves, will focus on delivering Self Service for Managers (MSS), employees (ESS) and HR admin (HSS).

The main responsibility of the SAP HR Functional Lead is to work alongside the Programme HR Deployment Manager and ensuring that business related tasks are completed on time by managing and supporting a team of business resources. In addition, they will be expected to have a good understanding of basic SAP HR configuration and setup for Organizational Management, Personnel Administration (and Self Service).

The SAP HR Business and Functional Lead will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but it's a multicultural international working environment and the only language required is English.

Tasks:

  • Management and coordination of regional/local resources and Change Partners
  • Manage resources responsible for extracting HR data (required for data validation prior to going live
  • Where possible to provide business input and decision making capability for the du-ration of the project
  • To provide SAP HR system and process knowledge across the areas of Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Self Service (inc Processes and Forms)
  • Support the setup of Organizational Structure to support Workshops and testing for the duration of the project
  • Provide input to HR process change impact activities
  • Working in conjunction with Deployment Lead, Change Partners, business and technical resources to ensure cutover plan is adhered to prior to going live
  • To work with the Change team and regional/local resources during role mapping sessions to determine who needs what role and which part of the organizational structure end users are responsible for

Required management Competencies and Soft Skills:

  • Management of geographically distributed teams and resources
  • Experience of working on multinational projects as well as an understanding of how cultural differences can impact how projects are delivered
  • A good understanding of Change Management, Training and Communications strategies (as they relate to SAP HR rollouts) - although responsibility for delivering these areas are with other team members
  • Ability to get up to speed with the internal HR business environment as quickly as possible (as this role is taking over from an existing business resource who will be leaving the company)

Required technical Competencies:

  • Excellent understand of SAP HR as an end user
  • Understanding of SAP HR Master data and basic configuration
  • Experience with manipulating SAP HR master data
