SAP Security and Authorisations Consultant - Aberdeen - Permanent position Circa £45,000 plus benefits

The SAP Security and Authorisations Consultant will work within the SAP Support Organisation, which is based in Aberdeen.

The purpose of the role is to manage authorisations in SAP ensuring that the correct procedures are followed and access rights are agreed with the relevant business functions before changes are made to the system.

An important aspect of this role is to adhere to the security SAP authorisations framework and adhere to the tiered authorisations concept used by the company.

*A SAP Security and Authorisations consultant with a proven track record of experience in SAP ECC 6.0, across development, configuration and support with SAP Security including leading design changes, implementation and continuous improvements to SAP role structure.

*Relevant SAP certification/qualifications

*Excellent understanding of security service delivery to ITIL standards.

*Must have strong hands-on experience in role and user management

*Experience working with Central User Administration (CUA) an advantage

*Competent in Windows, MS Office, Outlook, IT support systems

*Understanding of GRC, SOX, Risk Management and Segregation of Duties concepts are an advantage.

*Proven ability to provide an appropriate level of skills and knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and deployment of SAP application and business processes.

*Ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners

*Track record in ensuring timely and high quality solutions.

*Ability to work autonomously with strong SAP consulting skills.

*Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

*SAP application experience across the following modules preferred, but not all essential: MM, FICO, PM, HR, BW.

*Experience of working with authorisation based analysis tools

*Familiar with working with internal and external auditors

*Experience of working with users, business process owners and stakeholders.

*Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experience

*Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and as a team player and member
