Oracle Linux Support Configuration Analysis Test

This role is a governance and assurance role working alongside the delivery partner with oversight of:

Siebel Server Architecture
- Practical understanding of all Siebel Server comps, how they communicate with each other and external interfaces
- Sound understanding of Linux as the underlying OS
- Scoping a Siebel Mid Tier physical server refresh:
  - Optimal Siebel server component configurations across physical Servers for high availability, resilience and performance
  - Sizing of Siebel components across physical Servers, including configuration of associated component parameters (including OpenUI Object Managers)
Siebel Upgrade
- Understanding of and examples of running a Siebel upgrade from release 8.1.x upwards (ideally IP2015)
Testing
- Being able to define relevant scope of non functional testing of the Siebel Mid Tier (resilience, performance etc)
- Defining KPI's for load testing
- Reviewing load testing results and providing analysis against a previous baseline
Issue Analysis
- Being able to investigate failures, ie
  - Server install, load test crashes, hangs
Co-ordinating within Oracle
- Ideally familiar with the Oracle machine (ie Support SR's, escalations, PM)
