Oracle DBA (11g, Production/Support, Database Administrator, Oracle)
CONTRACT - €550 PER DAY - 4.5 DAYS PER WEEK - SC CLEARANCE NEEDED - MAY START
Oracle DBA needed for long term production support contract in Luxembourg. Any applicants must possess current Security Clearance to National level to be considered for this role.
The duties and responsibilities of the Oracle DBA will include:
- Daily support and operation
- Implementation of new environments
- Data migration
- Following the existing procedures and methodology.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven DBA experience of at least 5 years - on medium/large projects - on the management of multiple database instances, based on Oracle 10g or 11g.
- The mastering of the Oracle management tools and other standard management tools as QUEST/TOAD is required.
- Experience configuring databases in a cluster environment, handling configurations for high availability, disaster recovery tools and techniques.
- Ability to explain issues at different levels of the business
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and technical documentation
