Description
Hardware Management/Maintenance
- Unpacking, Racking, Cabling and Configuring/Installing/Patching new Servers for all teams
- Managing the Apple Mac environment for the NAV team - Backing up and restoring Macs or troubleshooting failures.
- Troubleshooting any type of hardware issues with Servers (replacing disks, memory, batteries, motherboards, CPUs or applying software updates or firmware patches etc.)
- Engaging hardware vendors for any hardware/software issues and RMA
OS and Network Support
- Troubleshooting Windows issues on Hyper-V hosts and in and assisting with client and server OS issues in the virtual desktop development environment.
- Assisting the different teams or independently troubleshooting any type of software issues within their infrastructure environment (VMM, SQL, Backup, IPSec, DNS, DHCP, Domain Authentication, etc.)
- Patching all Hyper-V and infrastructure hosts/clusters
- Assisting the different teams or local IT with networking or global infrastructure troubleshooting
