A global technology consultancy is seeking an experience System Engineer with strong security expertise for a contract in Antwerp.
Below is some information on what the successful System engineer will be tasked with to do:
Nature of services
Operations and support, security and continuity: Analysis, definition, design, integration, implementation, test, deployment, maintenance, support.
Reference tasks
The following list of tasks applies to this reference profile. This list is not exhaustive and may evolve in time, also depending on the type of assignment:
Common
o Analysis and specification of operational requirements
o Analysis and specification of operational processes
o Analysis and specification of technical requirements
o Proofs of concept
o Development of scripts to automate and monitor recurrent systems related tasks
o Definition of test strategies, test design and testing of computing systems and networks
o Performance management
o Change and Configuration management (eg, assessment, scheduling, implementation, review)
o Capacity management
o Risk management
o Operational support (2nd Level)
Coordination with 3rd party maintenance contractors
o Technical assessment of technologies and related products
o All types of technical documentation, operational guidelines and procedures
o Technical training and guidance
o Reporting
Specific Practice:
System engineer networking; Firewall administration, Checkpoint experience.
Statement of work, based on the existing 6000 plus Firewall rules a division must be made in preparation of a migration.
The single set of Firewall rules must be split into two different new Firewall rules.
Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
Blue Coat Security Certification (Blue Coat proxySG)
Juniper Networks Certified Specialist FWV (JNCIS-FWV)
Methodologies:
ITIL framework and methodology
Project Management (Prince2, PMI or equivalent)
Protocols:
TCP/IP Suite (SNMP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, QoS)
SSL (offload/acceleration, interception, VPN)
