Mechanical Process Engineer

A global Pharmaceutical leader is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Process Engineer to join their team on a new build project based in Ireland.
The responsibilities of the Mechanical Process Engineer will include:

• Process improvement work to ensure operational and engineering targets are achieved in relation to output, quality, cost, and yield.
• Project Management of small to medium sized site specific projects through conception, approval, planning, execution, and validation in all parts of the plant including Production and Packaging, Utilities, and Warehouse.
• Ensuring all Engineering systems operate as per validated process.
• Management of and liaising with equipment vendors, contractors, project teams, and Business Unit (Production & Packaging).
• Troubleshooting and giving continuous technical support to specific processes in conjunction with the Maintenance, Business Unit, and Quality Departments.

The successful Mechanical Process Engineer will possess the below experience:

• Engineering degree in process or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Previous experience in a similar field.
• Understanding of development, process, maintenance, or project work in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment.
• Good trouble-shooting and fault finding abilities.
• Good knowledge of and experience with Process Systems (Batch Preparation, Vessel, Filling, Piping Standards).
