Responsibilities:
IT Business Analyst's main responsibility is to ensure the availability of the Management Information Systems / Application Systems from a technical perspective and ensure management reports are available.
This includes:
- Proactive monitoring of the systems and performance, follow up on the unresolved issues
- The Business Analyst should be able to create reports and is able to set up jobs to be able to specify in the application to collect and transform data
- Recommend and provide an overall efficient solution
- Be able to respond in a timely manner to all requests
- Assist other team members in DWH / MIS / Business Reports Projects
The Business Analyst will be expected to fulfil the following activities with no supervision:
- Administration: Server, Services, Database Server & Databases
- Analyse Requests, Data Analytics, Feasibility Study
- Program Management
- Programming of SQL, SSIS, QlikView, Visual Basic (VBA) & other programming languages
- Strong Microsoft Excel as well as Microsoft Office is required
- Understanding of business requirements, consult and provide solution
- Ability to understand / learn quickly the business requirements and recommend and provide an overall efficient solution
- Ensure Availability of Datawarehouse (DWH) and Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Analyse Business requirements and recommend solutions
- Create change request and implement solutions in time and in budget
Qualifications:
- Formal Qualifications and Experience: university Degree or equivalent.
- Senior profile - ideally 10+ years of experience.
- Strong experience of MS SQL.
- Advanced programming – QlikView, SQL & ideally VBA
- Excellent knowledge of IT – including PC’s & Networking
- Basic Program Management Skills.
