JOB DESCRIPTION:
Three years' experience working in a strategic communications role developing and monitoring communications plans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THE ROLE:
Design, develop and maintain a streamlined, systematic and collaborative approach to the planning, approval, monitoring and oversight of the cross-system health and care communications and marketing campaigns, working closely with our arm's length bodies (ALBs).
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our wide group of ALBs.
Manage the cross-system spend control and assurance process, liaising with Cabinet Office and Ministerial teams to ensure that proposals are properly scrutinised, contain clear objectives and KPIs, and demonstrate value for money, and that any duplications or inefficiencies are identified and addressed.
Act as a first point of contact on external and internal requests for ALB communications information, ensuring that all requests are delivered on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure an effective planning and assurance process is in place.
Ensure the operation of an appropriate evaluation system ALB campaigns is in place to contribute to shared communications programmes.
Oversee the maintenance of the cross-system communications planner, supporting the horizon-scanning function of the Strategic Planning team.
