Senior Hardware/Electronics Engineer - High Speed Digital Design, TCP/IP, SPICE
A defence communications specialist based near Middlesex is recruiting hardware/electronics design engineers with experience of high speed digital circuit design.
Complex design and development, working on high grade secure communications equipment for deployment in TCP/IP Networks.
Skills and experience required include:
*Competent with schematic capture
*Probing techniques and measurement on high speed digital circuits.
*Ability to optimise complex digital circuits to achieve power reduction.
*Ability to analyse performance across process, voltage and temperature variations.
*Understanding signal integrity problems and selecting appropriate terminations.
*Understanding power distribution networks and strategies
*Ability to devise hardware architecture to meet requirements
*Use of SPICE techniques
*Determines verification test requirements and devises appropriate test plans.
*Understanding TCP/IP protocols and Ethernet data communications coding technologies
Please note that due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate must be capable of attaining SC clearance as a minimum.
