Senior Support & Test Engineer - Tewkesbury - £per hour - Contract
We are urgently looking for multiple, experienced Test Engineers to work as part of a team within a leading defence company.
The role is based in Tewkesbury and is for an initial 3 month contract with high likelihood of extension and future contract opportunities.
The role will primarily involve the following:
- Assemble and Test product ranges to defined demand plan in accordance with build/test instructions.
- Undertake service, repair and test activities on customer return products, including initial damage and warranty assessments.
- Provide a first point of contact and resolution for technical issues with Assembly, Test and Repair activities.
This will suit a Senior Support & Test Engineer who holds valid security clearance and has the following experience:
- HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in electronic/electro-mechanical assembly.
- Competent in the use of hand tools, wiring, and PCB repair.
- Knowledge of Electronic principles and testing.
