TITLE: Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

LOCATION: Austin, TX

POSITION TYPE: Contract - Initially 12 months

Candidates MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN. A first round FACE TO FACE interview is REQUIRED. No third party candidates considered for this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years - Oracle advanced database administration experience
  • Experience using Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
  • Experience with both Operating System and database clustering
  • Experience with replication, log shipping, and mirroring
  • Experience with MS SQL Server administration

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support application databases (Oracle)
  • Support new initiatives and projects
  • Provide SME advice regarding Oracle architecture
  • Coordinate change within a multi-vendor environment
