Mainframe Functional Analyst Based In Brussels

Whitehall Resources are currently recruiting for a Mainframe Functional Analyst Based In Brussels

Location: Brussels, Belgium
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months and possible extension
Languages: English (main); French (secondary)
Rate: Competitive rate (Euros)/day - all inclusive

Technical skills:

- Mainframe technologies, XML, SWIFT (FIN/MT/MX,Interact, FileAct)
- Experience as a Functional Analyst
- Familiarity with business process design concepts and principles
- Ability to identify and reuse business services.

Desired (non-mandatory) skills:

- Experience in the Banking sector
- Familiar with Agile methodology
- French and/or Dutch speaking

Responsibilities:

- Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for the application; non-functional requirements for the application, including security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements
- Use business requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics
- Transform requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels
- Identify issues and report them to Project Manager
- Participate in quality management reviews with the stakeholders
- Participate in transitioning the functional designs to the developers
- Collaborate with the human interface designer to successfully design the user interface
- Create functional test scenarios and test data and support the functional testing phase
- Complete and maintain all appropriate documentation throughout the project life cycle
