CAD Technician/Data officer/Contract/3Months/Property/CAD Level3/Excel/Crystal

Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to work with our client in Cornwell, Truro. This is a 3 month contract role, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work with colleagues within the property team to build new business processes to make use of additional functionality within the Concerto property database. As well as contribute to the production of new data management protocols and procedures to ensure on-going accuracy and availability of property data.

As a CAD Technician you will be:

*Responsible for the maintenance of the clients library of CAD plans
*The audit and validation of all property data (existing and new) using property knowledge and expertise to access and interpret appropriate information sources such as title deeds and leases and through other activity such as site visits and interview of appropriate officers.
*Responsible for the collation of new property data not previously held within the estate software system, liaising closely with internal and external contractors and clients, and undertaking site inspections as necessary.
*The production of reports using applications such as Crystal Reports and/or Excel from information in the estate management software system.
*Be the custodian of all CAD plans across the organisation, identifying gaps in data and working with the Asset Valuation Manager to fill these gaps,
*The modification and potentially the preparation of layout schematic plans using appropriate CAD software.

Essential skills include:

*Experience creating and modifying CAD plans
*Experience within the Property industry
*Evidence of extracting data from CAD into other data systems for analysis and interpretation, with experience of using CAD data to prepare and present accurate and detailed reports to management.
*Good inter-personal and community skills when dealing with the public, team members and colleagues
*Experience of working as part of project team to deliver specified results to a deadline
*Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and act on own initiative, with a flexible and enthusiastic approach
*At least two A Levels (or equivalent), ideally HND/graduate
*Strong IT skills, ideally within a property management environment, with particular expertise in Excel and Crystal
*Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the post
*Educated to 2D CAD Certificate Level 3 minimum
