Role:
Act as a Requirements Engineer within the area of instrument platform software components.
Main Tasks:
- Based on the product requirements, define and document the software requirements of the instrument platform program
- Manage changes to software requirements of the instrument platform program
- Structure the software requirements into levels of different granularity down to the granularity that allows the software requirements to be implemented by software development
- Ensure the vertical traceability from the product requirements down to the most detailed level of software requirements
- Document the software requirements according to internal requirement management guidelines
Required Skill Set:
- More than 6 years of experience in dedicated requirements engineering for complex software systems for devices
- Full stack of application range from UI to middleware, database system, workflow and machine control
- Knowledge of HP ALM
- Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Medical device development would be a benefit
Education:
- Engineering degree
- Adequate advanced education and certificates in (software) requirements engineering
Languages:
- Good German skills (spoken & written) as well as good English skills (spoken & written)
