Description
We are looking for a Site Operations Engineer to work in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) for 6 months + extensions at a very well-known multinational. Starting within 3 months.
Do you have experience in managing large websites? Do you want to automate everything so that you can sit back and relax? Great! Then we are looking for you!
Primary Job Responsibilities:
. Participating as a member of the Site Operations team
. Building and scaling sites which provide at least 99.95% uptime.
. Ensuring 2nd and 3rd line support for production environments, including on-call.
. Building, maintaining, securing and upgrading our Linux systems (web Servers, application Servers and databases).
Job Requirements:
. 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-volume databases (MySQL), systems (Linux/Solaris) and networking technologies.
. Excellent Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu) and database administration skills.
. Strong hands on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
. Monitoring systems such as Nagios/Graphite/GDash/Grafana, etc.
