Electronics Engineer
Yorkshire
6-month initial Contract
Negotiable Day Rate

My market leading client in the Yorkshire area is currently recruiting for a Electronics Hardware Engineer to join them on an interim basis. As part of the hardware team, you will focus on the development of designs to conform to product requirements and the companies Development Process.

You will liaise across different functions to ensure the manufacturing capability of new products and that adequate quality is inbuilt into products whilst ensuring technical and support documentation is available for products and systems.

You will also be responsible for:

* Generation of project documentation
* Ensuring that the overall hardware is fully qualified prior to production sign off
* Performing schematic generation, circuit analysis, validation of hardware and system level designs
* Executing design reviews
* Liaising with the software development team to resolve technical issues
* Provide maintenance support for existing designs
* Support for assisted living (sheltered, supported living) products

To be considered for the role, along with experience in the above you must have the following skills & competencies:

* Minimum 4 years of experience in hardware design in healthcare or consumer electronics products
* comprehensive knowledge of the following areas: ARM cores, High-speed Digital and Analogue Design, Microprocessor design.
* Knowledge of hardware design analysis tools and layout techniques for analog and high-speed circuits.
* Experience of design for low cost, high volume manufacturing
