The Mainframe engineer will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- Knowledge/experience in corporate payment processes is an absolute plus.
- You have experience with and knowledge of Mainframe applications.
- Knowledge with (Mainframe DB2) databases and SQL, Cobol, PL1, JCL, CICS, IMS, MQ, Z/OS, ISPF, Endevor, TWS.
- Understanding and knowledge of detailed 'technical behaviour' own system in normal and peak load.
- Experience with the lead in taking risks with respect to performance of the application after changes releases.
- Understand how your application fits into the entire chain which it is part.
- You are familiar with automation Testing and Deployment with UFT.
- You have experience of working in an Agile organization.
- You have a good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Knowledge of tooling as Artifactory, Nolio, Maven, Micro Focus Enterprise Server, Git, Jenkins, Nolio is an advantage.
The Mainframe engineer will perform the following responsibilities
- Deploying and running of Production system
- You provide Level 2 support for your application; automated testing (using UFT).
- You configure and deploy (Omegamon) Monitoring Tooling (for 24x7 monitoring behalf Master Control Room (MCR) using appropriate Event Alerts, agreed with the MCR.
- You will ensure that your squad and application fully contributing to implementation of Service Transition and Service Operations ITIL processes.
