Role: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Near Portsmouth
Duration: 3 months Initially

Sopra Steria Recruitment are currently seeking an Infrastructure Architect for a 3 Month initial contract with a utilities client of ours based near Portsmouth.
We are looking for people with a broad range of Infrastructure skills in our key tech areas (Microsoft, AIX, Networking, Firewall, Citrix etc). The successful candidate will understand Infrastructure and be able to think at a solution level (ie helping to design the implementation for a system), as well as being able to work at the detailed design level (ie detailing the exact configuration of a system).
You will be responsible for the detailed configuration, this will include documenting the build for the environment, sizes of Servers, file system layouts, Firewall routing/rules and then governing the delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Experienced Infrastructure Architect
- Extensive Infrastructure solutions knowledge and experience
- Able to create detailed design and configuration
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
