Full time Technical Consultant required for a 6+ month contract to start ASAP! Must speak Czech and basic English.
Role & Responsibilities
Engineer will spend most of your work-time on-site at the customer in Prague, Czech Republic. In that role you are involved in high-touch technical consulting roles with the customers, demonstrates deep technical capability, together with the ability to fully understand all aspects of a customer's technical and business environment.
Responsibilities include:
Creation and analysis of most complex network designs and diagnosis of networking problems.
Act as the technical specialist and lead for most complex deployments including also on-site activities at the customers.
Strong business acumen, including the ability to fully understand your customer's overall technical and business needs.
Expertise in business case analysis, executive summaries and similar, enabling you to develop and deliver compelling executive presentations.
Besides the on-site role at the customer you must also collaborate with our local account and service delivery teams and join meetings with them in the Cisco office in Prague as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Work location is in Prague, including ability to work at the customer's site in Prague on a daily basis.
Typically requires BS, CS, University degree or equivalent plus 5+ years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.
Good knowledge of Cisco product lines, supported technology and networking solutions.
Broad technical knowledge of IP Networking, data center solutions, virtualization concepts and cloud and its components: Applications, Storage, Network, Server and projects surrounding their planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization.
Expert level knowledge in SP technologies including core routing and switching, multicast, IOS XR, and troubleshooting in multi-vendor-environments. This includes the following technologies and Cisco platforms in particular:
Core technologies: ISIS, MP-BGP (including eBGPv4-LU as we live in MPLS CsC setup), L2VPN(VPWS), L3VPN, SM/SSM multicast, Legacy GRE based mVPN, Netflow, BNG (PPPoE without ISG).
Edge technologies: OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN, IPSec, L2TP, Nexus7k/Nexus5k with VPC+ and FabricPath in O2 DCs
Platforms: 7600/ES+, ASR9k, CRS, ASR1k, ASR, Cat6500 (Sup720, Sup2T, Sup6T), basic understanding of ASA Firewalls
Fluent language skills in Czech (preferred not essential) and English in speaking and written are required.

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification in at least one track relevant for the unified infrastructure area is a plus.
