Description

Endeavour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator. This is an English speaking position based in Brussels as a 6-month contract, working for a highly renowned organisation! Rate is negotiable based on experience.

Required Skills/Daily duties

  • i5 OS management (versions 5.3 -> 7.1) with 5+ years of working experience in a multi customer environment
  • MiMix, OMS400/ODS400, iCluster HA applications: installation, configuration, set up and management
  • HMC, LPAR, iASP configuration, set up and management
  • Installation, Upgrade and Migration of operating systems and PTF management
  • BRMS (IBM backup tool)
  • Job management through ROBOT/400, AJS and Job Scheduler
  • Co-ordinate Hardware and Software call
  • Printer and device configuration
  • External storage & SAN: connection and management
  • Performance management and capacity planning (PM400)
  • System Security management
  • TCP/IP communications
  • VIOS: configuration, set up and management
  • CL programming - Optional: RPG programmer skills P
  • Knowledge and skills to handle SEV1 situation independently
