Network Engineer - Checkpoint Firewall / TCP/IP / VPN - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer / Administrator to join a major international company. The focus of the role is the operation and support of the global IT communications landscape based on the Check Point technologies.Your experience / skills:
- 5+ years experience providing support and maintenance for communication LAN/WAN environment (Enterprise Networking)
- TCP/IP, STP, VRRP, HSRP, NAT, QoS, SNMP, VoIP, ACLs; Checkpoint Firewalls and F5 Load balancers know-how
- Strong experience working with large / global networks
- Understanding of ITIL concepts
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German knowledge is an asset
Your tasks:
- Support, implementation and management of the IT communications environment
- Implementation and management of F5 Load balancing
- Responsible for firewalls and VPN infrastructure based on Checkpoint technologies
- Supporting IT communications projects
