The Opportunity:

This experienced team currently has openings for an Architect as well as a more intermediate/senior Engineer. To make this role your own you will demonstrate deep technical ability with SCOM and Wintel resources in particular. In addition, experience with virtualization (Hyper-V or VMWare); installing, configuring and upgrading; knowledge of different Operating Systems; Failover Clustering (etc) will see you in good stead and help make sure that you are the one who lands one of these roles.
This is likely to start as a 12 month contract initially.
You will:
- Demonstrate extensive Systems Engineering and/or Architecture experience with a variety of technologies
- Experience with SCOM and Wintel in particular
- Experience with Server Virtualization, Failover Clustering, various hardward and systems installation, configuration and upgrading, LAN, Backup (etc.) will add value to your application
- Enjoy problem solving and show good attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with different levels of stakeholder
- Proven time management and documentation skills
- Any relevant certifications/qualifications will be beneficial
