I am representing a client that are looking for two Electronics Design Engineer, based in the Dublin area.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Electronics, ideally with the following:
- Experience in, and a successful track record of, in the development of complex software controlled electromechanical (ie motors, fluidic pumps, pneumatic proportional valves, solenoids, flow, gas, pressure sensor based medical devices, a plus.
- Experience with methods of system verification and validation of electronics/software activities.
- Experience in outsourced medical device manufacturing, manufacturing technologies, test and data collection methodology and process development to ensure a quality product. a plus
- Experience with specification development and the application of, sensors and actuators related to bioengineering.
- Ability to apply FMEA principles to assess engineering trade-offs for ease of service, ease of manufacturing versus reliability in the packageing of electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure patient safety. A plus
- Knowledge of medical device electrical safety regulations EN60601, IEC 60601, & UL FDA 21 CFR part 820 GMP, design controls, ISO13485, regulatory audits and international environmental regulations. Track record of success in the development and maintenance of 510K/PMA regulated products, (FDA class 1 or 2 life support, a plus).
- Knowledge in reliability or environmental tests methodology including Halt, Hass, DOE, a plus.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering CAD tools (ie Altium Designer, Digital/Analog simulation)
- BS in Electrical/Electronics engineering with 5+ years of applicable industry experience is required. MS/MBA or advanced degree a plus.
