SAP Payroll Consultant (Design) - Peterborough - 6 months+
My client currently has an urgent 6 month contract opportunity for an SAP Payroll Consultant (Design) to be based in Peterborough.
The chosen candidate will be need to have immediate availability as well as experience relevant to the job specification detailed below:
- Working with key stakeholders within the business and within ITSS to create a roadmap for future developments, ensuring that solutions included in that roadmap meet business needs.
- Providing a gap analysis of the activities and changes needed to match business requirements to the global template.
- Providing support and producing reports for function process owners and other associated business
- Managing the creation and maintenance of the required documentation, to ensure correctness and currency
- Ensuring that the Service and Project work support business function areas like assessing any impact on existing systems and functionality, assessing the technical feasibility of change requests, Providing solution design for complex or innovative requirements and Providing quality assurance and sign-off of design, configuration and developments within the business function areas
- Proving advice to global process owners and associated key stakeholders regarding enhancements proposals as well as developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data accuracy, security
- Advising on the use of new SAP functionality to improve the efficacy of the Customer's SAP investment.
- Attending meetings like Process Improvement, Change Review Board, process boards; and steering boards
- Approving changes/transports to SAP Production and third party systems and ensuring that testing has been fully and properly completed
- Providing impact assessment of SAP OSS notes, enhancement packs and system upgrade activity
- Complying with all change control procedures and processes for supporting existing functionality, requested changes and the development of new functionality
- Ensuring that year-end activities are undertaken
- Proposing innovation opportunities for value realization developments by exploring the potential of the Customer's systems
- Supporting the Customer, where appropriate, in responding to actions and requests resulting from internal Customer audits external audits and actions resulting from Customer forensic reviews
