User Requirements and Capability Acceptance Technical SME
Location: South West England
Duration: 6 months [initially]
EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria is currently recruiting for a User Requirements and Capability Acceptance Technical SME to join a new team, based on site at a key Government client in the South West of England.
The team will be involved in providing a solution to deliver secure access to information services for users across various locations in the UK and overseas, providing a configurable network that has a single sign-on.
This contract is for an initial six months, with the option to extend for at least another six beyond that.
On client's instructions, due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate must have current security clearance to a high level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Requirements Technical SME will cover Requirements and Information Model Exploitation and Acceptance for:
- An Information Model transition to a Design Directorate ownership and governance
- Completion, and subsequent maintenance, of the Requirements Capture using the Operational Model and associated Operational Business Need Documentation to include Full Operating Capability components
- Modelling Based Systems Engineering support to the programme being exploited as BAU.
- Support the creation of Capability Milestone Definitions
- Prioritise and direct the creation of Enterprise Service Design Packs (ESDPs) under an appropriate SLA.
- Exploit the Operation Design Model, Enterprise Service Design Packs and Solution Design Packs in support of an aligned and coherent Requirements Golden Thread.
- Exploit the Operational Design Model for the creation of Acceptance Case documents
- Exploit the Operational Design Model for the creation of Capability Acceptance documents, including Capability Trial Scripts
- Support the creation of Capability Planning documentation
- Provide requirements SME support to the creation of Business Cases, Review Notes and Information Notes.
- Advise the Owner, Programme Office, Delivery Team as required on Requirement and Acceptance related matters.

- Populated and exploitable Operational Design Model that can be used as the repository for User Requirements
- Capability Milestone Definition documents
- Acceptance Case documents
- Capability Acceptance Trial Scripts
- Capability Planning documentation
- Trial Reports and Acceptance sentencing recommendations
- Supporting advice for Business Case, Review Note and Information Note generation.
