My client is currently looking for an experience Windows Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month contract. This is an urgent requirement.Job Description -
*To Construct a new IT system that will support the administration of a new system. To build a new IT system which will be delivered on a cloud based platform procured through a specific framework.
*Experience of deploying Windows, in depth knowledge of Active Directory, remote desktop services (RDS)
*The users of the systems are in two broad groups; external and internal who will make claims via the Internet such as internal staff who administer the claims process. You will need to build trust relationships externally and internally.
*The new system will centralise and streamline the processes in place. Once built the new IT system will have to be deployed in to Windows.
*Taking a lead with the migration of user mailboxes from STFC Exchange 2010 to 2016 Enterprise environment
*Providing hands-on significant experience of migrating Exchange 2010 to 2016 (preferable) or to 2013
*Evaluating improvements to the email services provided, recommend and implement approved solutions
*Resolving issues as they occur during the upgrade, covering both the pilot testing and migration phases
*liaising with the Email Upgrade Project Manager, the Technical Lead and the project team
Essential Experience -
*Experience in working in a project environment, including the ability to demonstrate evidence of successful project contributions
*Excellent Exchange upgrade skills are a must, preferably 2016 experience
*Experience in joining federations with Exchange and Exchange Online (Office 365 hybrid configuration).
