Test and Validation Technician
This role is to support engineering fuel test rigs based within a world leader in the design and manufacture of Controls for Aero-Engines.
The role has been created to help with the move, build and maintenance of electro-mechanical test rigs and will require wiring to 17th edition regulations.
Day to day duties will be the diagnosis of faults and problem solving on electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control systems. Maintaining, updating and calibrating equipment. Rig transition and planned maintenance.
Skills required:
Qualified in 17th Edition wiring regulations.
Experience within a compliant test environment ie) ATEX
Experience working with low voltage AC/DC motors and inverter drives.
Rotating double days shifts 6-2, 2-10, will normally be required and will attract a premium on top of the basic rate.
