Cisco Prime SME Network Engineer
Our client requires a Cisco Subject Matter Expert for a 6-12 month contract in Eindhoven, Netherlands with in depth experience of CISCO Prime NGN- Next Generation Networks(NMS) and Cisco Prime including the following:
- Prime Central/Prime Network/Prime Provisioning &Prime Performance
- You will also be well versed with IP/MPLS fault planning, troubleshooting and maintenance including VOIP Services.
- We are looking for a hands on Cisco Prime SME to install, configure, support & Optimise whilst knowledge transferring to the existing team,
- CCIE, CCNP and all other Cisco qualifications with 5+ years' experience in IT., Networking and Cisco products and technologies.
- Cisco Prime 1.0 and 1.1 NGN design, deployment, configuration and management
- Excellent relationship with Cisco experts and Cisco TAC on development, troubleshooting and support of Cisco products and technologies
- Incident Management + Change Management (Planning & Execution) On - call Escalation Ticket Quality Process adherence & Security compliance Customer feedback ( Appreciations, CSAT survey results) KB preparation and review, Knowlegde sharing & documentation Root cause analysis/Problem Management + Capicity/Architectural Management SLA compliance for tickets Value Add Training/Mentoring
- Customer service skills and client focus
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco Routers & Switches,
- Knowledgeable in the following data circuit technologies MPLS, Ethernet, and POS
- Expert knowledge in service provider level networking with knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing Protocols - EIGRP,BGP and MPLS technologies.
- Experience working on CoS, QoS, WRED and related quality of service parameters
- Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP)
- Hands-on experience on Load Balancers - F5.
- Hands-on experience of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Ether channel
- Expert Knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSec and GRE protocols
- Understanding of network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP
- Knowledge on Cisco Wireless.
