Mobile Packet Core System Engineer (3G/4G)
The System Engineering position at Flint provides a highly motivated individual an opportunity to provide technical solutions for wireless carriers, supporting Flint Clients. In addition, the successful candidate will develop a wireless system and product expertise by solving customer's networking challenges.
The System Engineer will be responsible for developing innovative network solutions by utilizing the leading edge wireless product line in high growth global telecommunications markets. This person must possess technical expertise to design complex network solutions to stay ahead of the competition and champion change by challenging the status quo in support of new ideas.
Primary responsibilities:
Network Planning (external) - deliver expert consulting, design and engineering support to customers for sales opportunities. Work with Sales and Professional Services to develop state-of-art customized wireless solutions for Carriers worldwide. Recommend technical solutions to improve customer operations.
Network Planning (internal) - provide technology consulting for internal teams (ie Product Management, Marketing, Sales). Convert external customer requirements into recommendations for new product features.
Customer Support - represent the company's technical capabilities and manage day-to-day technical needs of wireless customers. Support/enable customer specific solutions to grow business. Steer customer expectations according to product and network management capabilities.
Beta Support - drive successful new product introduction in partner labs and customer live network. To include integration and testing activity, developing testing strategy on functional and capacity performance in order to demonstrate product capabilities.
Job Requirements:
In order to be successful in this role, this person must have 3-5 years technical networking experience in the wireless field in one or all of the roles above. The candidate must be able to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:
Telecommunications - specifically the Mobile Packet Core Network- have been working in a telecommunications industry, developed networking solutions for wireless Carriers and obtained a wide technical experience base.
Carrier Applications - have a background in IP and In-Line Services related to charging for differentiated services.
Organizational - have shown the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, work across the organization, and drive the necessary activities to solve customer issues.
Interpersonal - have demonstrated the ability to recommend technical solutions and work effectively with customers/partners.
Very strong written and spoken Turkish and English
