Overview of the position
Our pioneering and world class, award winning organisation is looking for an experienced expert FTTP Project Manager'. To lead and deliver end to end a major state of the art FTTP (Fibre to the Premise) rollout.
Role:
You will be responsible for the delivery of this next generation fibre roll out across the island, you will liaise with main board members and senior management, coordinating the planning of field and 3rd parties to deliver agreed homes/business passed and to ensure the appropriate business provisioning and support processes are established for connecting and supporting the service to end customers.
Essential role requirements:
- 10+ years Project Management in a Telco environment
- Two or three end to end Projects where you have delivered FTTP or FTTH (absolute must)
- Able to define and fully control such a project
- PMI or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent methodology
- Strategy and Governance
- Business Relationship Management
- Project Reporting and Control
Personal requirements:
- Willing to relocate Monday to Friday for 6-12 months to one of the British Crown dependent Islands off the UK mainland.
- Will be used to working in a fast paced and changing environment
- Will be a flexible team player and yet able to take the lead when required.
- Have a strong positive attitude and excellent rapport and people skills at all levels.
