1 year contract for a part time Desktop support technician.
This position is for a desktop support technician. This resource will work 2-3 days in Middletown, PA and 2-3 days in Hagerstown, MD., supporting users sitting at different factories.
Day to day responsibilities will be supporting these users with their IT needs desk side from escalated tickets from the helpdesk.
There are 2 other technicians that this resource will sit alongside of in Hagerstown, MD and will act as the sole technician in Middletown, PA
Issues range from network connectivity, MS Office Suite troubleshooting, HW/SW troubleshooting to repairing laptops.
The shift will be Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm with an on call rotation of every 3 weeks.
Top 3 Skills:
1.) 2-3 years of end user support (Helpdesk and/or Desktop experience)
2.) Previous troubleshooting of HW/SW - Microsoft OS's, MS Office Suite, etc.
3.) Previous experience troubleshooting phones, printers, imaging, etc.
Nice to have previous experience troubleshooting Dell laptops and to have used SNOW (Service Now) Ticketing system. There will be 1 In person interview with the hiring manager and his team.
