The Senior Actuary is an urgent hire and can turn around very quickly. You will be working closely with the Head of FRM to assist the development and maintenance of the internal model, providing qual and quant support to risk and reporting. You'll be a key player in the ongoing continuous improvement and maintenance of the internal model.
Key Knowledge, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Development and maintenance of the company internal model.
Performing regular recalibration and review the suitability of the methodology for the internal model.
Supporting the resolution to issues uncovered during the independent validation activities.
Creating material for the board (and PRA) to explain changes to the methodology.
Person Specification and Skills:
5+ years experience in a life insurance based actuarial role.
FCA & PRA knowledge.
Internal model validation experience.
