FTTX Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in Kyrgyzstan.

Position Title: FTTX Design Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: November 2017
Duration: 3 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for FTTX detailed design, including on-site survey, draft-drawing and blueprint, BOQ and solution output.
- Ensure that all plans are available to enable progress of the project.
- Ensure designs are more accurate against the actual site.
- Ensure the Contract Partners are working to the agreed plan.
- Providing the right decisions to overcome project obstacles, deviations to ensure progress is achieved.
- On site Survey as per the guideline.
- FTTX/ODN network Planning and design as per guideline, including design pack documents preparation.
- Monitor, record and report against contract partner(s) to ensure survey and design delivery against an agreed plan.
- In charge of the dedicated area design management including plan, progress, issues resolve, etc.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Min. 5 years of FTTX design experience.
- Experience with leading the survey team.
- Capable of completing the low level designs independently.
- Familiar with ODN next work structure.
- Familiar with different optical cable laying models, splicing and construction methods.
- Fluent in English (Russian or Chinese preferred and will be give advantage).
