Description

1 x Identity Manager (IDM administrator) is needed for a contract role with an international organisation based out of Valencia, Spain.

Working as part of the client's Identity Services team and in an English speaking environment, you will provide Identity Management support for the client and its end customer's services focusing on Microsoft Identity Manager and ADFS, running on Linux/Solaris, Windows and Azure. The client will consider candidates with 2 years of relevant experience in this area.

This is a 6 month contract but has the potential to extend far longer,. The client would prefer candidates from Spain but is open to other nationalities and for those not local, Valencia is a great location with a very affordable cost of living.

Identity Management Activities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert on best practices and efficient solutions on the support of Microsoft Identity Manager 2016 and Microsoft ADFS.
  • Perform system administration and maintenance on Identity Management solutions.
  • Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement industry standards.
  • Help formulate a plan of action for appliances that fall out of the appropriate operating guidelines.
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades or enhancements to the current Identity Management environments.
  • Progressively provide support for other Identity services running on Linux/Solaris, Windows and Azure (Identity and Access Management solutions, Single Sign On, etc.)
  • Document processes and procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in on-call rotation and operations during maintenance windows.
  • Participate in disaster recovery exercises.
  • Participate in the development of tools and solutions to be used by the unit.
  • Create documentation and develop training plans for other support team members.
Identity Management required skills:
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft ADFS and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
  • Experience with ForgeRock OpenIDM may be considered.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager 2016 Synchronisation Service
  • Minimum of 1 year supporting Microsoft Azure and Office 365 technologies.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat preferred).
  • Good knowledge of C#, PowerShell and/or JavaScript development.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL v9.4.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work and work with minimum supervision.
  • ITIL familiarity or certification.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
