SQL Server Support Contract
A top Client of realTime is on the lookout for a Database Support Specialist for a contract role based in Dublin City. This is a 5-month daily rate contract, starting Nov 2017 and running to the end of March 2018. An extension beyond March 2018 is likely for the successful individual, subject to satisfactory performance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known company with an extremely contractor friendly environment.
You will be required to display strong technical expertise in SQL and Oracle with an ability to make design decisions and operate independently.
The Role:
- Senior level Database Support Specialist working in the Middleware Services team
- Specialising in SQL Server (Oracle experience also required)
- Role involves support of Database Technology and infrastructure for customers in Dublin, London and Germanyw
Essential Skills & Technical knowledge
- DBA experience focusing on infrastructure support, installs, upgrades and troubleshooting
- SQL Server 2005 to 2014
- Oracle 8 to Oracle 12
- Demonstrated Windows Server 2003 to 2012 experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of UNIX platforms HPUX, AIX, Linux
