Description
Our client is looking for an experienced French speaking BTS Field Engineer.
The person will be responsible for installation, commissioning and support of the systems deployed. Responsibilities will include performing Site Surveys, Remote Site Installations, Master Switching Office Installations, Commissioning, Documentation, Acceptance Testing Optimization and system support for the project.
Main duties of the position
*Maintaining Customers' radio systems to factory specifications.
*Telephone support to specific customers.
*Ability to provide work supervision and subcontractor management
*Post-acceptance system and warranty issues
*User training to Customers and Dealers.
*Document systems as installed or modified via "As Built Drawings".
*Perform Installation and Commissioning of radio sites and Site surveys and reports
*Site acceptance Testing
*Investigation and resolution of any issues
*LAN and WAN troubleshooting experience.
*Experience in troubleshooting RF cables, connectors and antennas.
*Experience with BTS (GSM/3G) installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
*Project reporting, weekly reports on progress and issues discovered in the field
Fluency in French and English (both oral and written) is essential for this role
