IT Cloud Infrastructure/Azure/Cisco/Linux/Palo Alto
Our client, European market leader in their business, is based in the north of Holland. They are delivering IT services to several clients in and outside of Holland. Currently they are migrating their worldwide IT Systems to the newest versions, including the Cloud. At this moment the company has 3000 employees spread over 26 different countries, including USA, France, Germany, Hungary and Turkey.
For this global upgrading project, they are looking for an IT Cloud Infrastructure engineer who can design, integrate, test and maintain Infrastructure/Cloud Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the existing systems and software solutions;
- Setting up the Azure Cloud Platform
- Datacenter/CoLo/OpCo work: replacing disks, installing hardware, configuring patches;
- Rotate in second/third-line support HINTS infrastructure and software production;
- Answering second line customer inquiries via phone and email;
- Install, configure and update of hardware, OS and software within the infrastructure;
- Reporting Project/RFC/Incident status to project management, team management and/or business sponsors;
- Continuously improve (internal) processes;
- Rotate in several projects related (may) have on several (geographic) locations;
Your Skills:
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, Windows Server. Knowledge of IBM iSeries is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Palo Alto is a nice to have;
- Knowledge of networking and routing level CCNA, CCNP. Knowledge of Layer 2 and 3 protocols;
- Knowledge of Azure;
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of Citrix and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services;
- Knowledge of SCCM and SCOM;
- 5-10 years applied ITIL and PRINCE2 experience;
- 5-10 years proven experience in the areas of network, security, storage and virtualization technologies;
- Knowledge of Okta, Nets Kope, AirWatch is a plus;
- Willingness to travel to our offices in the Netherlands and abroad;
- Familiar with ISO certification and subsequent proceedings;
