Technical Resources are currently recruiting for the following position:
Fibre Splicing Engineer
Location: Southampton
Parking Costs can be covered as an expense.
Start Date: 30th October 2017
Duration: 3 months (Rolling Contract)
Working Hours: 8 Hour Days
RATE: £220 Per Day
There is also an overtime rate of time and a half when working weekends
Main Duties include:
Engineers are required to pull single mode, internal fibre, through tubes from rooms to the risers within an apartment block.
The fibre is a multi core fibre which will then need to be spliced into pigtails and splitters (all provided by the client).
Engineers are required to provide their own Splicers and a Tester. A Power Meter is sufficient enough as a tester.
