Operations Engineer/Applications Manager
Our client is a leading financial organisation based in Holland. For this client, we need an Operations Engineer with Master Data Management experience and preferably has experience within in a large financial environment.
As an Operations Engineer you will be responsible for the support, maintenance and implementation of all releases, more specifically the Client Data Management within the banks IT Systems - Wholesale & International. You will coordinate the deployment of applications from various environments up until production. Additionally, you will focus on continuously improving the quality of your work. As a team member you will be responsible for the daily support of the Client Data Management System, the implementation of LifeCycle Management and reducing the operational risks. Additionally, you will work on projects where it is important to invest and monitor operational requirements upon realization. We are looking for a proactive person who always looks at the opportunities and realizes improvement.
The technical environment is a Linux, WebSphere environment. The application has at its basis the Master Data Management (MDM) suite. The automation of deployments (XLRelease, XLDeploy, Jenkins en GIT) and setting up a good chain monitoring (Splunk) environment is a priority.
Your profile:
- Experience with functional and technical application support, preferably within a big financial environment;
- Fluent English;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Broad experience with Linux, Oracle, Java, WebSphere;
- Experience with ITIL/ASL;
- Knowledge and experience with Agile/Lean methods;
- Experience with Continuous Delivery;
- Experience with IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management;
- Experience and willing to work within a DevOps Environment;
- Completed a bachelor/master degree;
