Tangent International are hiring a Infrastructure, Voice and Transmissions Operations Engineer
You provide the technical services for the operation, administration, monitoring and maintenance of Voice services and infrastructures: a public TDM type switch and two IMS type Switches. You participate in the optimization and sizing (including "capacity planning") of infrastructures. You provide support to deployment teams, customer maintenance and supervision. You also ensure the treatment and daily monitoring of infrastructure incidents (astreintes).You ensure the maintenance in operational conditions of three public branch exchanges (Class 4 & 5) representing 60,000 lines, as well as two WDM loops connecting Paris airports and data centers. You provide technical support to the supervision, installation and maintenance teams. You optimize and write the operating procedures for public branch exchanges.You ensure the physical interventions of evolution, commissioning and maintenance (proactive and reactive) network elements.
As such, you: Perform the physical operations of commissioning, evolution and maintenance (proactive and reactive) network elements under the responsibility of the team (core equipment and media access networks (subscriber hub), Ensure installation and maintenance on time and in compliance with procedures and ensuring the expected quality of service, Participate in the evolution of the networks with the Technical Department, receive, install and implement the infrastructures, You ensure the implementation of the necessary cabling infrastructures between the network equipment and the different distributors, Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment constituting the infrastructures, Update and write technical documentation, procedures and standards, Ensure the smooth operation and availability of network elements under the responsibility of the team Work as a team and transfer your skills to the other team members, Work in collaboration with engineering, You ensure the good treatment of CDR through mediation.Skills: - Good knowledge of SS7 protocols - Expert SIP protocol.- Very good knowledge of SBC ACME - Good knowledge of IP - Good notions of IP routing - Knowledge of Alcatel E10 Switches - Knowledge of NGN Switches Alcatel MGC10 - IMS concept Profile:
You have a higher education of telecom engineer or equivalent, You have acquired at least 5 years of experience with an operator in a public switch operator position. With excellent interpersonal skills, you have proven writing skills. Permit B required. Imperative English.
