Mm/Wave Communication Research Engineer

12 month contract (extendable)


The Company

A leading Research Institute in the telecoms market.

The Role

- Responsible for theory exploration, advanced algorithm design, analysis, and simulation in millimetre wave communication system, mainly in Lens antenna designing.

- Conducting lab measurement, data analysis, mathematical modelling and optimization.

- Generation of intellectual property through the patenting of ideas.

The Individual

1) Phd degree in wireless communication, electromagnetic field, microwave technology, radio physics/antenna, optics or related

2) Experience in radio/millimeter wave communication system and algorithm design

3) Solid knowledge on communication theory, electromagnetic propagation, signal processing, modelling and simulation

4) Proficient in algorithm design for antenna/focal array system with phased array feeders.

5) Familiar with the principle, feature, model of lens array devices

6) Familiar with radio propagation modelling and simulation tools (Matlab, HFSS and etc.)

7) lab measurement skill, MillimeterWave/RF/antenna test
